Friday - Full Day in Kauai
Today is free to explore the lush island of Kauai on your own. Perhaps, join the optional Full Day Waimea Canyon & Koke’e Adventure with Lunch. Begin with a drive through the heart of Kauai’s countryside. View Waimea Canyon, known as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” and admire the views. Watch ocean waves propel jets of water through lava rock at the Spouting Horn Blowhole. In quaint Hanapepe town, view Hanapepe Valley from the lookout, and cross the famous Hanapepe Swinging Bridge. Following lunch, proceed down a nature trail in Koke’e State Park for an easy walk surrounded by endemic flora and fauna. Admire views of Waimea Valley from Pu’u Hinahina Lookout, and visit the King Kaumuali’i Statue at Pa’ula’ula. Next, visit Kauai Coffee Plantation to learn how coffee is cultivated, and roasted. Conclude the tour with a tasting of fresh roasted coffee.
