Next, venture to the Original Farmers Market, a maze of winding pathways lined with a wide array of stalls, shops and eateries. Later, proceed to Beverly Hills and Hollywood Boulevard to view the stars on the iconic Walk of Fame, the world's most famous sidewalk, featuring more than 2,690 stars. Return to the hotel with free time before your New Year’s Eve dinner tonight.

This morning, arrive in the resort town of Puerto Vallarta with its colonial-era charm. Explore the historic center, and view Plaza de Armas, the town square, and the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Continue with a stroll along the Malecón (seaside promenade) lined with cafes, and trendy restaurants serving contemporary Mexican cuisine. For fun-in-the-sun outdoor activities, head to Banderas Bay for whale-watching, snorkeling, and jet-skiing. Return to the ship mid-afternoon and set sail.

Wednesday - Huatulco, Mexico
The ship docks in Huatulco, situated on Mexico’s Pacific Coast in the state of Oaxaca, offering 9 bays and 36 beaches. Head to the most popular beach La Entrega, with clean white sand and calm waters, perfect for snorkeling, swimming, or just relaxing. Huatulco features archaeological sites to explore including the pre-Hispanic ruins in nearby Parque Eco-Arqueológico Copalita. The region is a haven for bird lovers with more than 225 bird species, including a number of them that are endemic to Mexico, like the Colima pygmy owl, and the wildly colorful orange-breasted bunting and citreoline trogon. Continue cruising towards Puerto Quetzal by early afternoon.

Thursday - Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala
Morning arrival in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala’s largest pacific seaport. There’s not a great deal to see in Puerto Quetzal itself, but the city is an ideal point of departure for day trips, exploring Guatemala’s most popular destinations. Discover the country's Maya sites, the colonial city of Antigua, a UNESCO World Heritage, a coffee plantation, or beautiful Lake Atitlán. The ship sets sail in the evening.

Friday - Corinto, Nicaragua
Arrive in the port town of Corinto, along the route to the Panama Canal Zone. The town features colonial-era architecture, and a number of cultural, and ecological attractions in surrounding area. Given the port's proximity to León, perhaps take a day trip to this beautiful city established by Spanish conquistadores in 1524. During your visit, be sure to sample the traditional Nicaraguan dish called vigorón, a hearty plate with pork, boiled yuca, and cabbage salad. Return to the ship mid-afternoon and continue cruising.

Saturday - Puerto Caldera (Puntarenas), Costa Rica
The ship docks in Puerto Caldera, on Costa Rica’s Pacific Coast.* The town, a busy working port is ideally positioned within easy day trip distance of a number of the country’s national parks. Venture out to explore the variety of Costa Rica's outdoor attractions, from lush jungle destinations to pristine beaches along the Pacific. Perhaps, go swimming at the base of a waterfall, hike near active volcanoes, go horseback riding on Pacific beaches, or enjoy bird-watching in nature reserves and sanctuaries. This evening, sail towards the Panama Canal.

Early morning arrival in the town of Balboa standing at the Pacific end of one of the world’s great engineering wonders, the Panama Canal. it was U.S. territory until it was returned to Panama on December 31, 1999. The 48-mile route begins here, and ends at the Caribbean Sea. Observe how the ships cross the locks. The Panama Canal crossing is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Tuesday - Cartagena, Colombia
Mid-morning arrival in Cartagena, a city nestled on the Caribbean Sea. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See expansive views of the city as you make your way to the San Felipe castle-fortress. Explore the city’s colonial district beginning at Bolivar Park. Surrounding the
square is the Gold Museum, which exhibits archaeological objects dating back to the pre-Colombian period. Then, on to “the Vaults”, archways built within the walled city that were used to store armaments. Return to the ship in the evening.

Depart the island by early afternoon, and continue cruising towards Fort Lauderdale.
