01.
Tuesday - Arrive in San Francisco
Welcome to San Francisco! Transfer independently to the hotel. Begin your discovery of this beloved “City by the Bay” with time to explore Fisherman’s Wharf at leisure with its quirky shops, cafes and endless entertainment. Your tour will begin with an orientation meeting with your Tour Manager at approximately 7 PM. We recommend that you select flights which arrive no later than 5 PM.

Wednesday - Drive to Fish Camp
Travel to Fish Camp located right outside of Yosemite National Park, best known for its magnificent natural attractions. Upon arrival at your hotel in Yosemite Region, spend time at leisure before dinner tonight.

Thursday - Explore Yosemite National Park
Today, discover the rugged beauty of Yosemite National Park. Upon entering, you’ll be welcomed to the Yosemite Valley by Bridalveil Falls, one of the park’s most prominent waterfalls that thunders during springtime, but has a calm and swaying flow for the rest of the year. View El Capitan, a favorite for experienced rock climbers, known as the largest monolith of granite in the world, and Half Dome, the recognizable symbol of Yosemite that rises nearly 5000 feet above the Valley floor. Continue with a Yosemite Valley Floor Tour led by park rangers and Yosemite Hospitality naturalists. Admire splendid views of all the highlights at Yosemite, while learning about the history, flora and fauna throughout the Park. Later, return back to your hotel.

Friday - Fresno en route to Sequoia National Park
Depart the Yosemite Region and travel towards Sequoia National Park. Along the way, stop in the city of Fresno for lunch on your own. In the afternoon, continue to your hotel in Sequoia National Park and check into your room with free time before dinner tonight.

Saturday - Explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks
Explore Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks and take a journey into the heart of nature’s grandeur. As you approach Sequoia National Park, you will be greeted by the towering giant sequoia trees. The most iconic of them all is the General Sherman Tree, standing at an impressive height of over 275 feet. In addition to the sequoias, the parks boast diverse ecosystems, and breathtaking landscapes. Here, you will find towering granite cliffs, roaring rivers and an abundance of wildlife.

Sunday - Drive to Monterey, Monterey Aquarium
This morning, drive past the rich farmlands of the San Joaquin Valley and the peaceful San Luis Reservoir, stopping en route, for lunch on your own. Arrive in stunning Monterey, with its extraordinary coastline and windswept features. Tour the Monterey Aquarium before continuing to your hotel. The rest of the evening is at leisure. Tonight, perhaps visit the wharf area for a wide choice of casual restaurants.

Monday - 17 Mile Drive, Carmel By the Sea, Return to San Francisco
Drive along the breathtaking Monterey Bay Peninsula, known as the “17 Mile Drive”, widely recognized as one of the most scenic panoramas in the world. Marvel at some of nature’s treasures found along the drive including The Lone Cypress, one of California’s best-known landmarks, and the Cypress Point Lookout. Continue to the charming seaside town of Carmel By The Sea. Afterwards, drive to San Francisco for an evening at leisure.

Tuesday - San Francisco City Tour
A scenic morning drive takes you to the historic Presidio. This inspiring setting with its spectacular vistas was home to native people for more than a thousand years. Transformed by the U.S. Army from windswept dunes to a military post, this area is now a part of the magnificent Golden Gate National Recreation Area. From here, look out over the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz Island. Returning to the city, take a tour with views of elegant Nob Hill, bustling Union Square, Chinatown and Ghirardelli Square. Remainder of the day is free. Tonight at dinner, share memories of your journey and bid farewell to your Tour Manager.

Wednesday - Return Home
Transfer independently to the airport for your departure flight.
